Can an AI girlfriend send voice messages?
Yes. In X-Friend she sends short voice notes in her own voice, when it fits or when you ask.
Can I choose her voice?
Yes. You pick it in the character creator and can listen to it before you decide.

Is it the same voice as in calls?
Yes. Voice messages, calls and video calls all use the voice you chose for her.
Where her voice comes from
In the last chapter of the character creator you choose her voice from a selection and listen to it first. The same voice speaks in voice messages, calls and video calls, so she always sounds like herself.
Voice messages are generated for your conversation. Nothing is recorded by real people and nothing comes from a library of stock phrases.
Voice message or call?
A voice message is short and you can listen whenever you like, on the bus or in bed. A call is live: you talk at the same time and she reacts immediately. Many people use both, voice notes during the day and a call in the evening.
