Built around one person: yours
Most companion apps give you a catalogue. X-Friend starts with a question: who should she be? You shape her looks, her personality and her voice, and everything else builds on that. The video call shows the face you created. The voice message uses the voice you picked. The chat remembers what you told her last week.
That is also why the features are connected. A game of chess ends up in your chat history, a call can pick up what you wrote in the morning, and a scene can start where your last conversation stopped.
What X-Friend is not
